Art Therapist &
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Therapy for children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, identity, relationships and life transitions.
I may be a good fit if you are…
An adult who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what direction you want to take in your life.
A parent seeking therapy for your child or teen who is experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation concerns, self-worth challenges, or relational difficulties.
Thoughtful, sensitive, or creative, and sometimes feel misunderstood or out of step with those around you.
Navigating identity questions, life transitions, or broader existential concerns.
Looking for a collaborative, down-to-earth approach that integrates talk therapy with creative work.
While I am not a specialist in working with neurodivergence, I have worked with many neurodivergent clients, and my collaborative, down-to-earth approach aims to support a wide range of ways of thinking and experiencing the world.
My approach
I work with children, teens, and adults, adapting my approach to each person’s developmental stage, needs, and goals.
Collaborative
I view therapy as a partnership, where we work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My role is to guide and support you, while respecting your unique insights and goals.
Empowering
By focusing on your inherent strengths and fostering self-awareness, I aim to help you cultivate the tools, confidence, and sense of agency to navigate life authentically.
Creative
Creativity is at the heart of my approach to therapy. Regardless of age, art-making can access feelings and insights that words alone may not capture (even if you don’t consider yourself an “artist”). Together, we’ll use creative processes to help you navigate challenges, discover new perspectives, and connect with yourself in a new way.
Existential
I often explore themes like meaning, identity, and life transitions, helping clients navigate the complexities of being human while finding their own sense of purpose and direction.
Systemic & contextual
I approach therapy with an understanding that systems—familial, cultural, and social structures—impact personal experiences. By considering the broader context of your experiences, we can better understand the influences shaping your journey and identify pathways for meaningful change.
Anti-oppressive
I recognize my identity as a cisgendered settler of European descent, and approach therapy with a commitment to anti-oppressive practice, acknowledging the historical and ongoing impacts of colonization, systemic inequality, and privilege. I strive to create a space that is queer-friendly, inclusive, and actively anti-colonial, while remaining open to feedback and growth as I continue to learn and unlearn.
